We played baseball in their back lot with Jack Brosnan and Bill Parese, Allen Barraclough and others. Eventually the back lot was sold to the Pierce family.

The foundation of the house was built before the Revolutionary War. The original house (which burned down) was the headquarters of the British Army in Middlesex Parish. The Arthurs added the detached garage in the rear and the driveway that pointed to Jerry Petersen's old house at 1 Du Bois Street. Thanks, Remey!!
